As gallery director, Camille will work closely with you teaching you all about how we sell paintings and the ins and outs of the business operations of our gallery.

Rokoff Studio is an oceanfront gallery in Kona, Hawaii, owned by Alexander Rokoff and his wife Camille that deals exclusively with original oil paintings by Alexander Rokoff. 

ABOUT US

Alexander has been a career artist for decades and has sold work all over the world. Opening Rokoff Studio in Kona was a COVID pivot for the Rokoffs. Prior to opening this gallery Alexander was selling work at the Four Season at Haualai and had gallery representation in Waimea.

We know that for some people buying a new piece of art can be a big decision, for a variety of reasons. We lead every customer interaction with aloha, enthusiasm, and confidence, helping our collectors to find a painting that will bring joy to their homes for the rest of their lives. 

Job Description

Join our sales team! 

We are looking to fill the position of Sales Consultant with someone who is reliable, motivated, and has a positive outlook on life. 

We will provide one-on-one training in many areas of owning a small business with a focus on sales and marketing.

You don't need any experience working at an art gallery to qualify for this position, we will provide specialized training to help set you up for success with Rokoff Studio.  

We're looking to fill a position that is one day a week with an hourly wage of $10 plus a 15% commission, with the average painting priced at around $2,000, and our top-priced painting listed at $11,000, there's a lot of opportunity.

This is a starting position that could lead to a larger role with our company as we continue to grow. 

There will be reviews every three months with the opportunity for increased compensation along with the possibility to expand your role within the company.

DAILY TASKS

- Engaging with customers and providing service that leads to sales is the primary focus of this position

- Encouraging customers to leave Google reviews and follow us on social media

- Two quick daily meetings with Camille to outline/review the sales training focus of the day

- Light housekeeping - Sweeping, dusting, etc. 

- Writing painting descriptions for the website

- Printing and assembling Certificate of Authenticity packages

- Tracking and following up with potential collectors via email
