I was looking back through some of your past projects and I thought it would be nice to pair some of Alexander's paintings that feel inspired by your aesthetic and the beautiful environments you've created.

MAUNA KEA ESTATE HOME

I love the open flow of the grand room as it extends toward the expansive views, and the natural textures layered throughout the design. I also really enjoyed the playful energy in the artwork chosen for the bedrooms that keeps the home feeling personal and lived in.

The overall aesthetic reminded me of several of Alexander’s more muted landscape paintings, as well as the portrait he painted that's currently hanging in Huliheʻe Palace. Even though this project doesn’t feature animal-inspired artwork, the palette and texture of his animal paintings feel like it would integrate beautifully into this environment.

HAPUNA RESIDENCES - The calm, tranquil setting is so inviting. Again those gorgeous fibers and textiles add depth and interest throughout the space. The ocean palette and theme reminded me these paintings from Alexander.

Hualālai - The clean lines of this residence are gorgeous, punctuated by the textures in the upholstery... and that swing! Love the colorful artwork throughout. It reminded me of these paintings from Alexander .

I put together a collection of Alexander’s paintings that I feel could naturally complement your layered, nature-inspired aesthetic. With a few bright pops of color to echo some of the vibrant energy of the Big Island.

Alexander’s paintings are currently placed in private residences within Hualālai and Mauna Lani, as well as other homes across the Big Island. Below are examples of works installed in these residences.

We regularly collaborate with designers to create site-specific oil paintings tailored to scale, palette, and narrative. It's been a great way to create works that feel fully integrated into a designers vision for their client.

Mahalo for taking the time to consider Rokoff Studio! We would love to collaborate with you on future projects where original oil paintings can thoughtfully support your vision. I’d be delighted to welcome you into the gallery to experience the work in person and talk story Alexander and me.

Warmest mahalos, Camille Rokoff
